Caution: This post contains spoilers from the penultimate scene of Riverdale, “The Brilliant Age of Tv.”
Blessed messenger Tabitha (Erinn Westbrook) is back… and she has news from long haul.
After Riverdale fans have went through much of the ultimate season pondering when the teenagers would make their way back to 2023, Blessed messenger Tabitha showed up within the penultimate scene of the arrangement to uncover that they won’t.
The great news is that Tabitha found a way to settle the timelines, but the terrible (or great?) news is that she settled them by weaving together each timeline into one.
Specifically, he places them all within the 1950s timeline, with everyone living there today.
Interpretation: This arrangement is finishing with Veronica’s (Camila Mendes) blasts and with Archie (KJ Apa) saying things like “golly.”
But Tabitha did offer each character the chance to keep in mind their (future) pasts.
Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Jughead (Cole Sprouse) chose to keep in mind it all, while the rest of the gang asked to as it were keep in mind the great stuff — so no serial executioners (and no bears).
And with those recollections, they continue their lives within the ’50s… at slightest for one more scene.
All we know around the arrangement finale at this point is that it’ll highlight an 86-year-old Betty as she recollects her senior year of tall school.
So in a few ways, the appear will go back to display day. As it were this time, Betty will be exceptionally ancient.
