The Beanie Bubble, which debuts July 28 on Apple TV+, tells the story behind the Beanie Child toy fixation that started within the 1990s.

Based on the 2015 book The Incredible Beanie Child Bubble, which takes after the story of toy maker-turned-billionaire Ty Warner, the film centers on the ladies who were necessarily to his success.

Within The Beanie Bubble, three women—Robbie, Sheila, and Maya—help turn Beanie Babies into the iconic items they make.

This is often a fictionalized retelling, but based on three genuine women—Patricia Roche, Confidence McGowan and Leena Trivedi

each of whom had worked with Warner (a part played within the film by Jack Galifianakis) on the toy.

"Tie made billions. He wouldn't have done it without the three of us,'' Robbie (Elizabeth Banks) says within the film. "This story isn't approximately him."

Ty Warner established Ty Inc. in 1986 and discharged Beanie Babies in 1993, which got to be a worldwide sensation.

By the mid-1990s, Beanie Babies got to be fiercely prevalent, with uncommon version toys made in organization with businesses such as McDonald's and Wrigley Field.
