Lionel Messi has been the voice of some of the best soccer leagues, and he arrived in Major League Soccer in big fashion for his first MLS season.
Inter Miami was leading 1–0 against the New York Red Bulls when Messi made his first MLS regular season appearance in the 60th minute.
Presenting that special show, with Major Time, just before bus time, he scored.
Messi has promoted Inter Miami CF in celebratory games in his short time with his organization,
who were involved in non-league play, and led the club to the League Cup title earlier in the month.
The title is Inter Miami's first since David Beckham founded the team in 2020.
The Argentine superstar scored 10 goals in the competition and won the best player award.
Messi has scored eight goals in nine appearances with his new club so far. He is now with 11 goals and six assists with his new club.
Saturday's match was available for viewing in Times Square, as a crowd took to the streets to watch Messi's MLS regular season debut.
