Within the late-'90s, rappers Timbaland & Magoo burst out of Norfolk, Virginia, with a new sound and a hot single, "Up Bounced da Boogie."
Half of the team, Melvin "Magoo" Barcliff, has passed on, Timbaland shared on social media. No cause of passing has been declared.
The maker paid tribute in an Instagram post Monday.
"This one hits diverse. Long live Melvin aka Magoo!!!
Tim and Magoo until the end of time. Rest simple my lord," Timbaland (aka Tim Mosley) composed.
Magoo was recalled by individual craftsmen counting Advanced Dark (aka Benjamin Bush) of Dru Slope and Ginuwine, who posted a ardent message on Instagram.
"This fella continuously pushed me … I will miss you Maganooo, that's what we called him …
totally one of the most excellent ever in my eyes continuously squeezing forward.
I know we didn't conversation a part but the cherish was and will continuously be there my brotha," Ginuwine composed.
