Michael Oher of 'The Blind Side' says he wasn't received, but put in a conservatorship

Michael Oher, the subject of the hit 2009 motion picture The Dazzle Side, has affirmed that a central portion of his story — that he was embraced by a well off family — is untrue.

Rather than embracing him, he said, the Tuohy family built up a conservatorship, in which they benefitted from his title, picture and resemblance.

On Monday, Ohr, 37, also filed a motion in probate court in Shelby District, Tennessee, seeking to end the conservatorship altogether.

A conservatorship could be a legitimate arrangement allowing a party to handle the money related and individual undertakings of another.

Oher is additionally asking that the Tuohys account for his resources, as required by the conservatorship;

pay him any cash he was owed over the a long time, with intrigued; pay his lawyer expenses and reformatory harms;

and be authorized for damaging the terms of the conservatorship.
