Oppenheimer Box Office Collection Day 1: How Did Christopher Nolan's Biopic Perform?

Christopher Nolan's latest film, Oppenheimer, opened in theaters on July 21, 2023.

The biopic about J. Robert Oppenheimer, the scientist who led the Manhattan Project to develop the atomic bomb, was met with positive reviews from critics.

However, its box office performance has been somewhat mixed.

On its opening weekend, Oppenheimer grossed an estimated $10.5 million in the United States and Canada.

This was lower than some analysts had predicted, but it was still enough to give the film the top spot at the box office.

However, Oppenheimer's international box office performance has been weaker.

As of July 28, 2023, the film has grossed only $25 million in international markets.

So far, Oppenheimer has grossed a total of $35.5 million worldwide.

This is a modest start for a film with a budget of $100 million.

However, it's still too early to say whether Oppenheimer will be a box office success or not.

The film has only been out for a few weeks, and it could still pick up steam in the coming weeks and months.

If you're interested in seeing Oppenheimer, be sure to check out your local theater.
